ABOUT US

Aims and Objectives

Aims and objectives of Al-Asr Scouts are:

- To help children increase knowledge and skills in a positive environment while maintaining Islamic principles.

- Provide educational, physical and social activities to help children develop survival abilities.

- Offer academic and extra curricular activities for children.

- Facilitate camping trips within the British Isles.

There are 6 programme zones used in scout sessions. Over a number of weeks, all zones would have been used in the sessions. These zones are: Beliefs and Attitudes, Community, Creative, Fitness, Global, Outdoor and Adventure.

We hope to provide a healthy mixture of challenging and adventurous activities and hope the scout members enjoy themselves in an encouraging and supportive Islamic environment, to develop young people who love Allah (swt) & the Ahlul Bayt (as), and to have a balanced and enthusiastic attitude to Islam and the society in which we are living.
